State Championship Ends with a Victory for John Burroughs

Congratulations to John Burroughs on winning the 2023 State Field Hockey Championship! The victory over St. Joseph’s Academy resulted in the Bombers first title since 2012 and capped off an incredible undefeated season.  The final game featured seven outstanding Aim athletes on BOTH Burroughs and St. Joe…how exciting!  Special shout out to Bombers: Sophie Buchowski, Katy Chapman, Finnley Desloge, Kate Grady, Kate Logsdon, Azin Mofidi and Lily Tourville!  And from the Angels: Jo Carollo, Maddie Croghan, KK Dooley, Meredith Dunn, Emily Hoehn, Annie Malloy and Izzie Patritti.  It was an exciting season of excellent competition throughout the state, and we are so proud of all the athletes who competed with passion and honor.
