I am so happy to welcome Ali Desloge as our new part-time office administrator for Aim. Ali’s first day will be today! She will fill in for the interim period as Aim continues the search for a new full-time hire. Ali has a long history with Aim, as she was one of my first coaches when Aim began in 2005. Ali is a dedicated coach who has always fully embraced the Aim mission of cultivating a strong, positive atmosphere where the athletes are taught field hockey and a high level of strength in character, teamwork, self-discipline and perseverance. Ali is a natural and excellent role model. She took a break from coaching while her three children were younger. Now, her youngest is a part of the U10 club program at Aim, and Ali is back as one of our coaches. Almost 10 years ago, I shared with Ali my overall vision for Aim and asked if she would be a part of it. I am so grateful that she will be joining Lynsey and me and the whole Aim community in this role now!
Ali brings great perspective to Aim’s overall mission, excellent communication skills, new ideas, organizational skills, and an energetic approach to leading and working on a team. I am so grateful to have her joining us and helping Aim continue to progress.
She is taking on the role of an office administrator, but she will, of course, wear many hats in our office. You can reach Ali via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or at the office number: 314-394-0880. This email address can be used for any general inquiries, gear/equipment orders, and individual communication with Ali. Ali’s hours will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-3pm.
Feel free to see Ali’s bio on our coaches’ page at http://aimfieldhockey.com/philosophy/.
